With the lockdowns lifted in Victoria, will shoppers return to physical stores? In this interview with Denis Walter, Denis and I discuss the recent spike in store sales that are a great sign there is a rebound of shoppers returning to physical stores. There are positive signs with retail sales up 10% on October 2019 and Victoria retail sales are up over 12%. However there are dark clouds hovering with big challenges around parcel deliveries and stock availability. I also provide listeners with advice on when to shop and what all retailers need to do in regard to having an online presence.
