Google have been trialling drone deliveries in Canberra for the last 12 months, delivering burritos, medication and coffee (an interesting mix). This world first in commercial air delivery, is just the start of things to come and opens up so many opportunities for faster deliveries.
Faster deliveries are the ‘holy grail’ that online retailers aspire to as it gives them a competitive advantage in getting their products to consumers rapidly. However, does this innovation spell the end to courier deliveries and are we now going to be inundated with pesky drones and the noise they make?
