Latest ABS Retail Figures: Great News For Retailers

 

The latest ABS retail figures released on Friday 3rd August reveal that retail sales have grown for the third month in a row. Retail has been in the doldrums recently with ongoing stories of store closures and iconic retailers such as Myer and DJ’s struggling with declining sales.

The news comes as a great boost for retailers with most sectors experiencing positive results, particularly clothing/footwear and cafes restaurants who achieved the highest sales increase over the past three months.
